MR. ADEMOLA ADEDAYO AINA – MD/CEO
Demola Aina holds a BSc degree in Mathematics from Ondo State University, Ado Ekiti (now UNAD), a Diploma in Insurance & Investment Mgt from University of Lagos and an MBA degree from the Federal University of Technology Akure.
He started his insurance career as a youth Corp member in 1991 with African Alliance Insurance Company Limited. Based on his commitment and landmark achievements in his service year, he was retained as a staff, thus acquiring rich experience in the underwriting and administration of life assurance and Group pensions business.
In 1998 he moved to Oasis Insurance Company Limited as Head, Life & Pensions Operations and was later to pioneer the start-up of the Technical Operations of Standard Life Assurance Company Limited as Group Head, Life operations in January 2000. While in Standard Life he served in several managerial capacities and as Heads of several marketing groups.
In August 2004 Mr. Aina joined UNIC Insurance Plc as Head of Life & Pensions operations in charge of the Technical and Marketing operations of the Life Division. He later doubled as Head, Group Life Assurance Marketing unit of the company.
Demola is versed in life assurance products design & development and has successfully defended several products before the NAICOM product approval committee. He has attended several seminars and conferences on Insurance, Marketing and Management.
An Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (ACII) and Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN), He was appointed the MD/CEO of Alliance & General Life Insurance Co. Ltd in June 2007
ADEDEJI ADETOYESE- EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OPERATIONS
He is our Executive Director (General Business). A 1982 graduate of Business Administration from the University of Lagos and a holder of Master of Business Administration degree from Ondo State University (Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba – Ondo State). He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London and a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
Dr. Adedeji has pervasive Insurance work experience in General Business, Special Risks/Energy and Life/Pension Administration covering over 22 years. A recipient of various merit Awards/Honours including a Doctorate (Honours Censa) has held various top position of responsibilities in the Insurance Industry at various times. In the course of his Insurance career and before joining A&G, he has worked with LASACO Assurance Plc, Leadway Assurance Co. Ltd., Anchor Insurance Co. Ltd. And First Assurance Plc as the company’s Managing Director/CEO. He has attended various courses, workshops and seminars in Insurance Management and Corporate governance.
LANRE ADESOGAN – CONTROLLER, GENERAL BUSINESS
Mr Lanre Adesogan is the Controller General Business of the company. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and a holder of Executive Certificate in Insurance from University of Lagos.
Mr. Adesogan has over 18 years experience cutting across all the technical department of insurance organization. He has attended various courses/seminars. In the course of his insurance carriers and before joining A & G, he has worked with Nigerian-French insurance Co., Summit insurance Company, Metropolitan Trust and Sterling Assurance Co. Ltd. He has extensive experience in Energy, Aviation, Marine and Transportation insurance business. He has attended various risk management courses and seminars both locally and internationally.
MOSES OYERINDE- CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
Mr. Oyerinde graduated with HND Insurance and has Post Graduate Diploma, Masters in Business Administration. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria; (ACIIN) Associate of Nigeria Council of Insurance Brokers, (ANCRIB) Associate Nigeria Institute of Management (ANIM) and Associate of Institute of Management Consultants(AIMC).
Moses Oyerinde is a seasoned underwriter, he started his Insurance career with Thomas Insurance Brokers in 1991 and worked with many reputable insurance outfits such as NICON Insurance Corporation, Kapital Insurance Company Limited, Davisther Brokers Limited, World Mark Insurance Brokers Limited and Cornerstone Insurance Plc.
He has attended many courses on insurance underwriting, claims & Reinsurance. Mr. Moses Tunde Oyerinde worked as GM/CEO WEMWSEC Insurance Brokers Limited before joining WEMA Insurance Brokers Limited in November, 2006 as Head Technical Operations as a result of the integration of the 2 insurance brokers. He is now the Chief Technical Officer, A&G Insurance Company Limited.
DEJI BOLUSEMIHI- CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Deji is the Chief Marketing Officer of the company. In this capacity, he has the responsibility of formulating Business Solutions, Market Penetration Strategies, oversee Relationship Management with clients and prospects as well as supervising the entire workforce of Marketing Department with emphasis on premium income generation.
Deji is a 1994 honours graduate of University of Lagos where he studied English Language. He later proceeded to University of Ilorin for his Masters of Business Administration (Marketing) program completing same in 2003.
He qualified as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (now National Institute of Marketing) in year 2000. He is a full member/resource person at Africa Business School as well as being an Associate member of Nigeria Institute of Management. In 2006, he also qualified and was admitted into the Chartered Institute of Marketing, London. The institute however upgraded his status to that of a full member in year 2007 after some months of active membership.
Deji started his post graduation career at Olusola Adekanola & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants where he practiced Auditing and Tax Consultancy. He thereafter moved to Consolidated Management Consultants Limited where he functioned as a management consultant. This is where he was when his interest in insurance made him to join the Marketing Department of Equity Indemnity Insurance Limited.
He left the company in 2001 to become the Unit Head of Marketing at Fortune Assurance Company Limited’s Regional office, Abuja. He was appointed the Branch Manager of Kaduna office in 2002. In January 2003, he was made the Branch Manager of Abuja office. Owing to very good performance, he was elevated to the position of Regional Manager, North and was in this capacity until June 2006. His last appointment at Fortune Assurance before joining A & G was that of Head of Marketing.
AUSTIN INYANG – HEAD OF LIFE OPERATIONS
Mr Inyang is a graduate of the University of Lagos from where he holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Insurance. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria-ACIIN. He is a seasoned Insurance professional with vast knowledge in the Technical aspect of Life underwriting.
He has attended various Technical and underwriting courses and seminars at senior management level.
Mr Inyang started his insurance career at Fortune Insurance Brokers & Consultants in 1985 as Underwriting Manager. He later joined Destiny Insurance Company Limited in 1986. He rose to become the Senior Manager, Underwriting & Reinsurance before leaving the company.
In 1996, he joined BAICO Insurance Plc as Senior Manager, Group Life Pensions and later became Area Manager Lagos operations in 2005. After the merger of BAICO and Alliance & General, he became the Head of Life Operations of the company.
DAUDA UMORU- CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER
Umoru is the Chief Finance Officer of the company. He has over 11 years post graduate experience cutting across private and public services.
He has worked in Dongfeng Plastic Manufacturing Company as Account Officer. He was a Senior Enterprise Officer (Internal Audit) with the Bureau of Public Enterprise. Before joining Alliance & General Insurance he was an Audit Manager at Abdulmalik Ahmed & Co.
He is a graduate in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic Auchi. He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He holds a certificate in Auditing of public enterprises in International Centre for information System Audit (ICISA) in Noida, New Delhi and also, a certificate in Finance for Senior Executive in Crown Agent International Management Training Centre United Kingdom.Umoru is happily married with children
BALOGUN A.OZOVEHE-GROUP HEAD,MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Mr.Balogun, an astute and versatile Information Technology Professional with over 13 years outstanding experience. He graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, and had his National Youth Service Programme with First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Agodi branch, Ibadan. Balogun started work as an Information Technologist with Industrial and General Insurance Company Plc. While at IGI his hard work and devotion to professional ethics accounted for his promotion as head of the systems development unit and he equally deputized as head of the Information Technology department. Balogun has kept pace with his profession, contributing to global trend in technology branding.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma degree of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Univeristy and also a Masters in Management Technology from Lagos State University [LASU]
Mr .Balogun joined A&G Insurance Company Limited as the Information Technology Manager and later became Group Head of the information Technology. He is a member of Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria and has attended several IT and Management Courses both locally and overseas.
AGBAWE, JOSEPH. O-HEAD OF INTERNAL AUDIT & CONTROLS
Mr Agbawe is a 1994 Accounting graduate of Yaba College of Technology.He has over 15 years unbroken experience spanning Internal Controls, Management Accounting and Auditing.
He was at Churchgate Group for over a decade functioning in the Audit Unit from where he joined Consolidated Breweries Plc, (Heineken) as the Internal Auditor and was with the Group until he took up appointment at A & G as Head of Internal Audit and Controls.
He has attended various courses and seminars on Audit and Controls. He is a registered member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
