MR. J. AKIN BELLO GMD/CEO
MBA, FCII, FII, FCIB, AMNIM                               

Mr. Akin Bello (a seasoned Business Administrator) has finally brought his wealth of experience to Alliance and General Insurance (A & G) as Managing Director.

Akin voluntarily disengaged his service from the employment of T.A. Braithwaite and Company as the MD/CEO, a position he held sequel to 26 years of active service with T.A. Braithwaite between 1983 to July 2009 with dint of hardwork.

A balanced insurance technocrat who has clearly distinguished himself as an astute professional with vast knowledge acquired over the years both at international and local level with particular reference to all classes of insurance including special risks.

Bello had also been in the frontline of handling other government accounts like:

• The Nigerian Railway Corporation
• NNPC
• NSPMC
• Nigeria Ports PLC
• Lagos State Government Accounts, etc.

In his quest for advancement in managing capital and human resources, he had attended many courses, conferences, seminars both at local and international level and he is also a member of Africa Insurance Organisation (AIO), Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB). Bello equally attended the Annual Conference of World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries held in Minnesota, USA in 2008.

Akin obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Edo State University (now Ambrose Ali University), a fellow member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and of Nigeria. He is also an active member of the Council of Registered Insurance Brokers and equally an Associate Member of Nigeria Institute of Management.

MR  AKINWALE AKINTOYE
Director Business Development And Strategy:
Mr. Akinwale Akintoye is a qualified and competent management/financial consultant with particular focus in quality assurance, corporate strategy and marketing development in major area of the economy such as Insurance, Banking, Telecommunications, Oil & Gas spanning to a period of 20 years.

AUSTIN INYANG – Chief Operating Officer, Life Operations:
Mr Inyang is a graduate of the University of Lagos from where he holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Insurance. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria-ACIIN. He is a seasoned Insurance professional with vast knowledge in the Technical aspect of Life underwriting.
He has attended various Technical and underwriting courses and seminars at senior management level.
Mr Inyang started his insurance career at Fortune Insurance Brokers & Consultants in 1985 as Underwriting Manager. He later joined Destiny Insurance Company Limited in 1986. He rose to become the Senior Manager, Underwriting & Reinsurance before leaving the company.
In 1996, he joined BAICO Insurance Plc as Senior Manager, Group Life Pensions and later became Area Manager Lagos operations in 2005. After the merger of BAICO and Alliance & General, he became the Director, Life Operations of the company.

FIDELIS E. CHUKWUELUE, B.SC, ACIIN, MBA: DEPUTY DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL
Mr Chukwuelue has over 20 years of post graduation insurance working experience, is a graduate of the University of Nsukka as well as University of Uyo and has worked with Fidelity Bond of Nigeria (Insurance Brokers) before joining the company as. A tested underwriter, Mr Fidelis has garnered a vast experience accruing from conscientious underwriting claims and reinsurance involvements in all classes of general business cutting across energy and aviation insurance business. He has been the head of Energy and Special Risks Department. He is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and has attended various courses and seminars on Insurance Underwriting and Claim settlement. He is presently Deputy Director, Technical Operations.


ADEYEMI A. ADEBESHIN, Director, Marketing  
A graduate of Insurance from Lagos State Polytechnic and an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute of London and Nigeria. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration with specialization in Marketing from Ambrose Ali University. He started his professional Insurance career with Hogg Robinson Nigeria. He joined Glanvill Enthoven & Company [Insurance Brokers] in 1989 as a Superintendent and rose to the position of a Senior Manager. He joined Presidential Insurance Company Limited in year 2002 as Deputy Controller in charge of Customers Relationship Management Unit and was later promoted to the position of a controller. He worked with Mutual Assurance Company Limited from August 2005 to 2007 as Assistant General Manager in charge of the Marketing and Technical Operations of the Company. He had also worked as Marketing Consultant to some Insurance firms and as Director in Brightways Insurance Brokers, before joining Alliance & General Insurance Company Limited in October, 2009. Adebeshin is well grounded in Insurance Marketing with great bias for Relationship Management. He had successfully packaged and handled insurance portfolio of many corporate clients and had attended various management and marketing training

BALOGUN. A. OZOVEHE- ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, MARKETING AND PRODUCTION
Mr.Balogun, an astute and versatile Information Technology Professional with over 14 years outstanding experience. He graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, and had his National Youth Service Programme with First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Agodi branch, Ibadan. Balogun started work as an Information Technologist with Industrial and General Insurance Company Plc. While at IGI his hard work and devotion to professional ethics accounted for his promotion as head of the systems development unit and he equally deputized as head of the Information Technology department. Balogun has kept pace with his profession, contributing to global trend in technology branding.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma degree of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Univeristy and also a Masters in Management Technology from Lagos State University [LASU]
Mr .Balogun joined A&G Insurance Company Limited as the Information Technology Manager and later became Group Head of the Management Information Systems. Balogun A. Ozovehe who is a an astute professional Information Technologist with a visionary performer in a core insurance product marketing with excellent performance in the field has earned him an elevation to a position of Head, Marketing & Production in his capacity as an Assistant Director. He is a member of Computer Professional Registration and has attended several IT and Management Courses both locally and overseas.`

LANRE ADESOGAN, ACII
Mr Lanre Adesogan is the Head of Claims & Reinsurance. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and a holder of Executive Certificate in Insurance from University of Lagos.
Mr. Adesogan has over 18 years experience cutting across all the technical department of insurance organization. He has attended various courses/seminars. In the course of his insurance carriers and before joining A & G, he has worked with Nigerian-French insurance Co., Summit insurance Company, Metropolitan Trust and Sterling Assurance Co. Ltd. He has extensive experience in Energy, Aviation, Marine and Transportation insurance business. He has attended various courses and seminars both locally and internationally in related risks.


YOMI AKINBOLA- CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER GENERAL BUSINESS

Mr. Yomi Akinbola has over 20 years work experience in the Insurance world. He holds Higher National Diploma in Insurance, Masters in Business Management from The University of Ado-Ekiti; he is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN).

He is a seasoned insurance professional with vast knowledge in Technical Aspect, Reinsurance, Product Development, planning & marketing and Underwriting. He has attended various Technical and Managerial courses both in Insurance and banking respectively.
He started his insurance career with Great Providence Assurance Co. Ltd as Assistance Superintendent (Reinsurance), also worked with different Insurance Companies in different capacities at Managerial levels, which have made him vast in Insurance and General Business. He worked with Fin Insurance as the Assistance General Manager, the post he holds till October 2009 before joining Alliance &General Insurance Company Ltd in November 2009 as the Chief Operating Officer- General Business.


OLAWALE MICHAEL OLATUNDE BSc [Hons], MSc, MBA, DIP, Risk Management

Olawale Michael has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, from University of Benin.  He holds a masters degree in Business Administration [MBA] from Lagos State University [LASU], He is a student member of CIIN.  Michael is result driven and self motivated with a determination to always get it done.  He started his Insurance Career with Bendel Insurance and later NASAL Insurance; he won the best marketer of the year 2000, in Nasal and was immediately promoted as Assistant Manager. [Apapa Branch].  A competent, highly skilled and experienced Life Assurance professional with a proven track record in life assurance marketing.  He proceeds to Capital Express Insurance Limited in 2004 from where he joined Guardian Express Assurance [Spring Life] as a Deputy Manager and later joined Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc [Life] as Head Public Sector/Financial Institution [ Senior Manager].   While in Mutual he won the best marketer of the year in 2008 with proven record, before he now moved to Alliance & General in 2009 as a top management staff.  He is the Head of Marketing and Branch Controller.  He has contributed greatly to the growth, restructuring and repositioning of Alliance & General Insurance Limited.
