LT. GENERAL ALANI AKINRINADE (RTD)-CHAIRMAN
General Akinrinade retired from the Nigerian army in 1983 after over 30 years of meritorious service. While in active service, he held several military and political appointments which was climaxed by his elevation as the Chief of Defence Staff in 1980 by the Shagari civilian administration. General Akinrinade has since retirement engaged in private business and has also served on the board of several private and publicly quoted companies. His presence on the board has ensured that his wealth of experience as a public servant and broad network of contacts work to the company’s favour.
MR. J. AKIN BELLO

Mr. Akin Bello (a seasoned Business Administrator) has finally brought his wealth of experience to Alliance and General Insurance (A & G) as Managing Director.
Akin voluntarily disengaged his service from the employment of T.A. Braithwaite and Company as the MD/CEO, a position he held sequel to 26 years of active service with T.A. Braithwaite between 1983 to July 2009 with dint of hardwork.
A balanced insurance technocrat who has clearly distinguished himself as an astute professional with vast knowledge acquired over the years both at international and local level with particular reference to all classes of insurance including special risks.
Amongst his landmark achievement were, ability to coordinate the insurance activities of the government established Commodity Boards (Nigeria Cocoa Board, Nigerian Palm Produce Board, Nigeria, Cotton Board, etc).
Bello had also been in the frontline of handling other government accounts like:
- The Nigerian Railway Corporation
- NNPC
- NSPMC
- Nigeria Ports PLC
- Lagos State Government Accounts, etc.
In his quest for advancement in managing capital and human resources, he had attended many courses, conferences, seminars both at local and international level and he is also a member of Africa Insurance Organisation (AIO), Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB). Bello equally attended the Annual Conference of World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries held in Minnesota, USA in 2008.
Akin obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Edo State University (now Ambrose Ali University), a fellow member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and of Nigeria. He is also an active member of the Council of Registered Insurance Brokers and equally an Associate Member of Nigeria Institute of Management.
HIGH CHIEF BAYO AKINNOLA
Chief Akinnola is the Lisa of Ondo Kingdom. He has at various times in the past held important political appointments in the Old western region as well as at the federal and state levels as Commissioner for industry and federal minister of industry respectively. The High Chief graduated with first class in English from the University of Ibadan and is currently the Chairman of West African Portland Cement Company (WAPCO). His wealth of experience and pedigree are always placed at the disposal of the company.
MR. ADRIAN J. BAULF (BRITISH)
Mr. Baulf qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1967 while working for a leading International Firm, Touché Ross. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA). He became a senior Partner in a medium–size partnership firm in London , but had to leave in 1988 to promote and develop his own professional practice. Cumulatively, Adrian has had about 40 years practice and consulting experience in the United Kingdom and internationally.
He has specialist knowledge in Advertising, Aviation, Banking, Industrial Cleaning, Insurance, Shipping, Oil and Gas Exploration and Production. His board membership of A& G has always brought fresh insights and international perspective to the business vision of the company.
MRS F.N. DINOBI
Mrs Dinobi has had a distinguished career with the Central Bank of Nigerian and Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Co. Ltd from 1974 to date. From a modest position of Research Assistant in 1974, she rose to become a Deputy Director Central Bank of Nigeria in 1996. From this position she was seconded to the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Co. Ltd in January 1996 as an Executive Director responsible for Finance and commercial. Dinobi is a statistican and holds both BSc and MSc from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and London School of Economics respectively.
